Absolute transparency

All barriers, whether physical or mental, impede the dissemination of knowledge and the creation of value at the same time. Deciding which people best contribute to the success of a project, be they customers, suppliers or AlgoritmoAssociates, is fundamental in strengthening collaboration and ensuring consistently high quality services. Sharing the workflow beyond the company’s barriers generates added value, as the group represents more than the sum of its component parts.

Quality Control System

The first element in our quality control system (QC) is the assignment of the commodity code. The purpose of this is to:

  • identify the participants in the process (translators, language resources, products)
  • optimise terminology and translation memories
  • use reference material that is wholly pertinent to the subject
  • harmonise the filing and management systems on the basis of content rather than formal categories

The commodity code is used for identification in the following areas:

TECHNICAL

The aim is to select the right know-how for the project, bearing in mind that the technical resources used are all different: reference materials, specialist know-how, the use of correct and up-to-date references, etc.

A code is assigned to every project on the basis of this identification.

LINGUISTIC

The appropriate resources must be selected in order to translate a source text correctly into a target text. To obtain a "correct" result, it is not only necessary to select suitable translators, revisers and proofreaders, but also identify style guides, glossaries and correct translation memories; in other words correctly updated materials with the same commodity codes.

ELECTRONIC

The goal of electronic identification is to highlight unique characteristics or potential issues in the software applications that could impact timeframes, workflow and project participants.

The final step is to look at all the issues that may affect the team; issues that are in fact caused by the team environment, from project queries to workflow progress and the management of data updated by a large number of people.

Cost control

Above all, transparency applies to the structuring of costs and monitoring the points in the workflow where costs are concentrated. In this way, our clients can view the project cost structure and development right from the initial offer.

Furthermore, the AlgoritmoAssociates cost control system has the following advantages:

DATA VISUALISATION

The data display functions of the KENN Bee™ platform enable a breakdown of costs on the basis of product, geographical area, company cost centres, etc. This allows customers to analyse the costs for data production and devise a strategy for the scope of data production.

DATA ANALYSIS

The data analysis functions of the KENN Bee® platform illustrate the relationships between the various costs functions. They also make it possible to determine the efficiency of the management system in terms of the quality of the resources and the quality of the data and terminology management systems.

Real-time traceability

At every stage of the workflow, the client can check that the resources used for the project are compliant with the toughest quality standards. The KENN Bee® platform makes it possible to:
